DR. KAZTHE HELI EXPERIENCE Back to the experience

REVELSTOKE, BRITISH COLUMBIA · WINTER 2026/27

The mountains are calling.
Let’s make a plan.

A real place, a carefully chosen crew, and the details that turn a good idea into a great trip. Explore the options for the first Dr. Kaz experience.

THE FIRST DECISION

The right group.
The right operator.

Come on your own, bring friends, or explore filling a ski group. We’ll start with dates, ability and budget, then find the suitable operator format. You don’t need to bring a whole group. These are researched options; participation and available places need confirmation.

JOIN A DEPARTURE OR FILL A SKI GROUP

Selkirk Tangiers

Start with a place on the trip.

The standard small-group program publishes per-person rates for four ski days and five hotel nights at Hillcrest. Ask about joining a departure with Kaz, bringing friends, or filling a four-guest ski group.

Available places and skiing with Kaz need confirmation. Filling a ski group does not buy a private helicopter; other rotations may share it. Private packages can also be quoted.

MEET THE CREW AT THE LODGE

Eagle Pass

A smaller crew. A lodge base.

A twelve-guest lodge with private ensuite rooms and four-guest ski groups. Ask about available places with Kaz, or bringing enough friends to fill a ski group. Four ski days are published at CA$15,925 in peak season or CA$11,850 from 15–31 March, before taxes.

Advanced/expert ability and previous heli, cat or backcountry experience are required. The operator confirms the ski group and whether it can place you with Kaz.

THE DOWNTOWN SHARED-GROUP OPTION

CMH Revelstoke

Big days. Ski-town evenings.

The Regent Hotel puts the trip in town. Signature trips use larger ski groups; ask about places for you and Kaz, with any friends you want to bring. Price and rooms need a written quote.

Other guests share the ski group. This is different from CMH’s remote lodge products.

Research checked 19 September 2026. Published formats and rates can change. Grouping, suitability, dates, rooms, complete pricing, and contract terms need direct operator confirmation.

FOUR SKI DAYS · A FIVE-NIGHT PLANNING TEMPLATE

A little breathing room.
A lot to look forward to.

ARRIVAL

Get here. Settle in.

A confirmed airport transfer, check-in, and welcome dinner. Match flights to the operator’s actual arrival requirements.

SKI DAYS 1–2

Find your mountain rhythm.

Operator briefing and professionally guided skiing, then relaxed evenings at the base. A town dinner is a possibility once logistics are agreed.

SKI DAYS 3–4

Make a few more stories.

Conditions-led skiing, time to recharge, and a final shared table. Stay the night after the last ski day.

DEPARTURE

Leave room for the journey.

Breakfast and a prearranged road transfer. Winter roads need a buffer; an airport-area overnight may suit an early flight.

This is our proposed rhythm, not an operator itinerary. An extra arrival night can add a travel buffer at additional cost. The chosen package and mountain conditions set the final schedule.

REAL PLACES. GOOD POSSIBILITIES.

Revelstoke,
after the last run.

BY THE FIRE

Guides Lounge

Hillcrest’s fireplace lounge fits an easy evening at the base if Selkirk Tangiers is the operator. Begbie Room is its dinner setting.

A SKI-TOWN TABLE

The Village Idiot

A casual pizza-and-pub evening to mix into the trip, with group arrangements and transport checked ahead of time.

Meet the Village Idiot
THE FAREWELL DINNER

112 Restaurant

A candidate for the final shared table: dinner, a few favorite photographs, and the stories you’ll take home.

Explore 112

An evening shortlist, not included reservations. Venue availability, winter hours, menus, transfers, and any additional cost remain to be agreed.

GET HERE WITH ROOM TO EXHALE

Plan the arrival.
Respect the winter.

Start with Kelowna.

YLW is the practical gateway to compare first. Published road and shuttle estimates are about 2.5–3 hours in ordinary conditions; that is not a guaranteed winter transfer time.

Tourism Revelstoke travel guide

Confirm the transfer.

Match airport timing, ski bags, and operator check-in before buying flights. The transfer page’s currently displayed schedule is for 2026’s warmer months, so winter 2027 times need confirmation.

Current shuttle information

Keep a flexible day in mind.

Resort skiing or a slower afternoon may be possible when heli plans change. Inclusions, costs, refunds, and whether an alternative operates depend on the actual operator’s terms.

MAKE THE NUMBERS REAL

Plan the trip.
Understand the spend.

Start with a published per-person departure price, or compare a private helicopter package. Both use Selkirk Tangiers’ 2026/27 four-day rates with five hotel nights. You can join with Kaz, bring friends, or explore filling a ski group. Places and grouping need operator confirmation.

Consider flights, transfers, insurance, drinks, gratuities, extra flying and other extras. Blank means no allowance has been added.

Package per person
$16,219.00

Standard small-group package, per person with double-occupancy lodging. Joining a departure or filling one ski group does not mean a private helicopter: the operator may run multiple groups. Available places, room arrangements, ability fit and skiing in the same group as Kaz must be agreed with the operator.

No hosting fee or host subsidy is included. Each person’s package is their own cost.

Published rates checked 19 September 2026. Written quote required; prices and terms can change.
