# Dr. Kaz — Revelstoke research library

Updated 19 September 2026. The first experience is now focused on Revelstoke, British Columbia. The previous general-BC/Terrace budget has been superseded. All operator formats, prices and terms below are research inputs, not contracted Dr. Kaz departures. No operator outreach, reservations, payments or advertising purchases have been made.

## The decision

Start with available places on a suitable Revelstoke departure with Kaz. Guests can come alone, bring friends, or help fill a standard ski group. A private helicopter is optional. There is no fixed Kaz-plus-four requirement and no need to assemble a full group before asking about an existing departure.

The primary benchmark is Selkirk Tangiers’ published four-ski-day/five-night standard small-group package, priced per person with double-occupancy lodging. January 10–30, 2027 is CA$11,339 plus 5% tax (CA$11,905.95); January 31–March 6 is CA$16,219 plus 5% (CA$17,029.95); March 7–27 is CA$11,829 plus 5% (CA$12,420.45). Other expenses and any host fee are separate. Bringing more friends does not divide these individual rates.

Filling a standard ski group is different from buying a private helicopter: the operator may run other groups in rotation. Confirm available places, ability/weight grouping, rooms and time skiing with Kaz. The planner retains private Bell 212 group pricing as an optional comparison, with its distinct flight-hour allowances and cost allocation. All amounts are published-rate illustrations, not quotes or inventory.

## What to validate next

1. Kaz’s participation, approved identity/story and two date windows.
2. Places on a suitable departure, the actual party size, and agreed time skiing with Kaz.
3. Written all-in quote, room privacy, flight/vertical guarantees, extra costs and binding payment/cancellation terms.
4. The actual contracting party, travel-selling requirements, disclosed host compensation and guest-payment route.
5. Demand from compatible self-funded skiers, measured through conversations and actual operator-confirmed bookings.

The website’s concept images do not document a real departure, hotel partnership or past guests. The planning calculator and local checklist do not reserve inventory. Operator screening determines suitability. Medical networking, clinical care, CME, referral access and company sponsorship are not promised benefits.

## Proposed pilot measures

Thirty warm introductions, eight substantive fit conversations and six qualified prospects are proposed outreach targets, not market benchmarks or a required group size. One paying guest joining Kaz on a confirmed departure can validate the initial idea. More guests or a filled ski group can follow. A booking means the operator has confirmed the guest under actual terms. Record why people hesitate: dates, price, ability, travel friction, host interest or insufficient trust.
